In Le Chéile Secondary School we have a thoughtfully designed curriculum which is broad enough to offer a wide range of learning experiences to all, and flexible enough to offer choice to meet the needs of students. Students are empowered to choose the way they learn best.
The educational experience for our students is inclusive and contributes to equality of opportunity, participation and outcomes for all. Our personalised and creative approach to curriculum development, teaching, learning and assessment encourages participation, generates engagement and enthusiasm, and connects learning with life outside school. Our learning environment alongside our technology infrastructure is designed around the needs of teachers and students for anytime, anywhere learning. |
Le Chéile Secondary School is constantly exploring new ways with which to empower students to have agency in their own learning, acting independently and making their own choices.
We recognise the value of personalising the learning for our students and are responsive to student voice in our subject offering and in providing choices around learning methods and learning resources. In doing so we empower our students to take ownership and shape their learning journey. As a learning community Le Chéile Secondary School has created a symbiosis between technology, curriculum development and our learning spaces to redefine and transform the learning experience for our students. |

In Le Chéile Secondary School we have nurtured a community where all are welcome and all belong.
We celebrate the rich diversity which characterises our school community and we cater for all skills and talents through our curricular, extra and co-curricular programme. We promote an inclusive education environment, empowering all students to thrive. Leveraging the use of technology has supported our students in developing greater independence in learning, giving them the tools, they need to succeed and in meeting the challenges of life beyond school. As a community of self-reflective practitioners, we regularly evaluate our progress through both internal and external review processes. The outcomes of which drives continuous school improvement. Teachers engage regularly in professional learning, choosing their own learning path, working with others to deepen understanding, and innovating to keep experiences relevant to our students’ needs. |
